About us

We are an independent organisation committed to traditional Amazonian and Andean medicine, the preservation of our cultural diversity and the protection of the ancestral knowledge of indigenous peoples.

We carry out projects in traditional medicine, intercultural education, reforestation, ecotourism, renewable energy and the conservation of the Amazon and its biodiversity.

Our team brings together artists, educators, conservationists and traditional healers from different indigenous communities, united by the aim of protecting life, Mother Earth and ancestral knowledge.

History

Our Centre for Ancestral Amazonian Medicine has been operating for over 17 years, and our team has been working alongside indigenous communities in Peru and Latin America for more than 25 years.

In 2016, we established the Amazon Peru Conservation Association to consolidate this work.

OUR MISSION

To preserve, protect and disseminate the ancestral knowledge and cultural diversity of indigenous peoples, strengthening its transmission to new generations and promoting a more conscious and respectful relationship with the Earth.
